Hinkle Law Firm LLC announces Managing Member change for 2025

Hinkle Law Firm LLC is pleased to announce the election of Eric W. Barth as a Managing Member, effective January 1, 2025. Barth will succeed Scott R. Schillings, who has served in the role since 2018. He will join Eric S. Namee and Mark R. Maloney who will continue their Managing Member roles.

Eric Barth’s journey with Hinkle Law Firm began as a summer clerk in 2002, demonstrating his long-standing dedication to the firm’s values and mission. Barth’s practice primarily focuses on employment and civil litigation matters. “I am honored to join Eric and Mark as a Managing Member of the firm,” said Barth. “I look forward to building upon the solid foundation established by Scott and the other Managing Members and contributing to the firm’s continued success and expansion.”

During Schillings’ tenure, Hinkle Law Firm experienced significant growth, including the expansion of its Kansas City office located in Lenexa City Center. In August 2024, the firm announced the addition of a second floor in Lenexa, with offices and conference rooms that can accommodate up to eight additional attorneys and support staff. This expansion reflects the firm’s unwavering dedication to meeting the evolving needs of its clients and underscores its commitment to providing the highest quality legal services in the region and beyond.

As one of the Managing Members, Barth will focus on furthering the firm’s strategic vision, emphasizing continued growth, attorney recruiting, and excellent client service.
