Monahan Joins Hinkle Elkouri

Laura Dakhil Monahan practices in the areas of business and corporate law, healthcare law and medical malpractice litigation. Her client base will consist of healthcare providers, where she’ll primarily focus on the healthcare industry and provide legal services on both the transactional and litigation aspects of the law. She will draft business agreements, conduct organizational counseling, monitor healthcare industry regulatory compliance and perform medical malpractice defense work for her clients.

Monahan graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2007, where she earned the Dean’s Scholarship. Prior to law school, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in journalism, also from the University of Kansas, in 2004. After graduating from law school, Monahan earned her Master of Business Administration degree from Washburn University in 2008.

Monahan’s bar admissions include the Kansas Supreme Court and the United States District Court, District of Kansas. She is also affiliated with the American Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association and the Wichita Bar Association, and was involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters from 1999 to 2004.
