John W. Broomes to be United States District Judge for the District of Kansas

On April 12, 2018 the Senate confirmed John W. Broomes to be United States District Judge for the District of Kansas (https://www.congress.gov/nomination/115th-congress/988). Judge Broomes was nominated by President Trump in September of 2017.

During his time at Hinkle Law Firm, Judge Broomes focused his practice primarily on oil and gas law. He began with Hinkle in 2007.

Joining him as his clerk is Rachael M. Silva. Ms. Silva was an associate attorney at Hinkle Law Firm.
