Mrs. Smith joined Hinkle as an associate attorney in August 2018. Now as an Of Counsel Attorney, she primarily supports clients in the areas of Business Litigation, Personal Injury Litigation, Trust and Estate Litigation, Title IX investigations, NIL services and all aspects of the bankruptcy process.
Lora clerked at Hinkle in the summer of 2017 and, prior to that, was an intern for United States District Court Judge J. Thomas Marten. Lora was top 10% in her class at the University of Kansas and was awarded two CALI Awards in Intro to Constitutional Law and Criminal Practice in Kansas. She was also a member of the Women in Law Society, the Federal Bar Association and a participant in Project for Innocence.
Lora and her husband grew up in the Wichita area and she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wichita State University. When Lora is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and watching softball.
