Jesse Gutierrez joined Hinkle Law Firm LLC in August 2020 as an associate attorney, providing support to the firm’s criminal defense and civil litigation practices. She has a deep-rooted passion for advocating for her clients’ rights within the courtroom.

Jesse earned her J.D. from Washburn University School of Law, where she gained invaluable courtroom experience. During her time as an intern at the Shawnee County District Attorney’s Office, she obtained a 719 legal intern permit, allowing her to make court appearances on behalf of the State of Kansas for various dockets, hearings, and trials. Additionally, Jesse served as a clerk at Hinkle Law Firm during the summer of 2019, enhancing her understanding of the firm’s practice areas.

Her practice focuses primarily on criminal defense and civil litigation, with a particular interest in DUI defense and personal injury defense. Her experience in these areas has strengthened her ability to navigate the complexities of both civil and criminal law, build strong defense strategies, and deliver positive outcomes for her clients.

Originally from Topeka, Kansas, Jesse enjoys spending time with her family and playing pickleball in her free time. She is an active member of the Wichita Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, Kansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and DRI.
