Jeff strives to solve problems, limit exposure, and obtain favorable outcomes for his clients. His practice focuses on both civil litigation and criminal defense. As a litigator, he has appeared in courtrooms across Kansas. Before joining Hinkle in August 2017, Jeff worked as a law clerk for United States District Court Judge Eric Melgren. During his time with Judge Melgren, he gained valuable experience working on various types of civil and criminal cases.
Born and raised in Ness City, Kansas, Jeff studied history and political science at Kansas State University before earning his law degree from the Antonin Scalia Law School, George Mason University. In law school, Jeff served as the Senior Notes Editor for the Journal of Law, Economics, and Policy. He also participated in the law school’s Supreme Court Clinic, where he worked closely with appellate attorneys on cases pending before the United States Supreme Court.
When he is not working, Jeff enjoys cheering on the Kansas State Wildcats and spending time with his wife and three young daughters.
