While at law school, Mr. Pohl was a member of the Washburn Law Journal, serving as Research Editor. Following graduation from law school, he served as judicial clerk for the Kansas Court of Appeals and law clerk to the Honorable John K. Pearson, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Kansas.

Currently, Scott practices in the areas of business law, business entities, contracts, commercial real estate, bankruptcy, and insolvency planning. He is a frequent lecturer at the Small Business Development Center where he presents on the topics of entity selection and formation and contract basics for business.
